volunteering at the ReStore
your time builds stability
ReStore volunteers keep our two resale stores stocked and running smoothly. A great option for creative, customer service oriented volunteers who prefer to work inside. If interested in bringing out a small group to our ReStore, please reach the volunteer coordinator, Keilah Hanely, directly at 302-652-0365 ext. 103, or volunteer@habitatncc.org

Frequently Asked Questions
What can you expect when volunteering at the ReStore?
While it is not required that our volunteers be able to lift heavy objects, those who are able and willing to lift heavier items are always welcome! All volunteers that are willing to life objects are advised to bring gloves.
We recommend that all volunteers dress in comfortable attire for standing and walking around the Habitat ReStore site. For safety reasons, we require wearing closed-toed shoes. The ReStore is equipped with heating and air conditioning, but it may get cold in the winter near the front door and receiving area, so dressing appropriately for the weather is recommended.
We’re here to help! Please reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator Keilah Hanley at volunteer@habitatncc.org or 302.652.0365 x103.
